A Little Bit About Us

Songstress Maxine has been charming all kinds of audiences since she was 13 years old. As a dancer, she travelled throughout the Southwest with mariachi groups and learned how to engage people in a one-of-a-kind way. Performing for the past 25 years locally at nightclubs with groups such as Luna, Sassy and the Phylmores, John Segura and the Latin Image, and at special events with her dance troupe, Maxine sings and dances with contagious enthusiasm. Maxine’s musical influences include great popular song stylists of the 20th century like Billie Holliday, Diana Ross, Gloria Estefan and Lucha Villa. Born in Pecos, New Mexico, and raised in Denver, Maxine lives to entertain people and has the energy, drive and talent to move deftly from one style to another, in English or Spanish. Anyone who has seen and heard Maxine in live performance won’t ever be able to forget her fiery personality and skill with the audience.
