Come and listen to Maxine & Company doing something very different this year! We will be performing Jazz and Blues at El Centro Su Teatro’s new digs on 721 Santa Fe Drive, Denver, Colorado. Freddie Rodriguez Sr. and his band will be performing and Freddie will be given recognition musically for all he has done in Denver for so many years. We will be performing right after them at 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Following us will be Amanecer with Jon Romero. Great night, come hungry, there will be concessions.

Antoinette was 40 years old when she was diagnosed with terminal cancer. Antoinette passed away on September 15, 2009 after a very short battle. Antoinette was employed as a temporary employee and had no health insurance. All proceeds of the benefit will go towards helping her family pay Antoinette’s medical expenses.

Other local entertainers include Comedian Ernie Ruiz, Johnny Rodriguez Y Los Diamantes, and many more!!!

Maxine and company will be kicking off the bazaar again this year on Friday, July 17th, 2009 starting at 7:00 p.m. and playing until 10:00. Our Lady of Visitation Church is located at 2531 W. 65th Place (from North Federal, go east on 65th Place, go slightly to the right and continue to the small pink church). There will be a benefit for Joel Mack who has undergone numerous heart surgeries and his medical bills are astronomical.

The benefit will start at 2:00 and will go until 9:00 p.m. A donation of $10.00 per person will be appreciated. Children under 12 are free.

There will be lots of prizes, raffles and great food!

D.J. Ken Martinez will be there to entertain you along with Maxine from Maxine & Company.

Maxine will be singing without her band to help in this worthy cause.
